Welcome to TAJINE QUI PARLE, owned and operated by TAJINE QUI BRILLE FRANCE (“we,” “us,” “our”).  By purchasing a subscription or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Your use of the service is also subject to our Privacy Policy (available on the site), which forms part of these Terms.

1. Who We Are

TAJINE QUI BRILLE FRANCE is an Entreprise Individuelle (sole proprietorship) operated by Richele SANCHEZ, based in France.  See our Legal Notice for more information.

2. Service Description

All visitors can view all dictionary entries on our site.

Subscribers to a TAJINE QUI PARLE All Access plan may:

  • Access all audio in dictionary entries.
  • Access learning materials (such as flashcards, mini-courses, and other educational resources) when available.
  • Access all community features and participate in the Community Forum discussions.

Not all dictionary entries contain audio. Learning materials may be introduced gradually and are provided as they become available. The availability, content, and coverage of audio, learning materials, and community features may be updated, changed, or expanded over time.

3. Eligibility, Accounts & Access

Browsing the text of dictionary entries does not require an account.

Access to audio, learning materials (when available), and community features requires you to be signed in as an All Access subscriber.

Accounts are personal, non-transferable, and must contain accurate information. You must be 18+ or have parental/guardian consent to subscribe.

Keep your credentials secure; account sharing is prohibited. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

We may suspend or terminate access for misuse (e.g. false information, account sharing, scraping, or inappropriate use of community features, or other violations).

4. License & Acceptable Use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the site and subscriber content for your own non-commercial use during an active session/subscription.

You may not copy, download, extract, redistribute, publicly perform, or create derivative works from our content (including audio), nor circumvent technical protections. Automated scraping/crawling is not permitted.

Audio is streaming-only while logged in and requires an internet connection; Audio is not downloadable for use off-line.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Currency

Subscription Plans (TAJINE QUI PARLE All Access):

  • Monthly Subscription — billed monthly; access to all audio, learning materials (when available), and community features for one month, which renews every month until cancellation.
  • Yearly Subscription — billed annually; access to all audio, learning materials (when available), and community features for one year, which renews every year until cancellation.
  • 7-Day Free Trial — New subscribers (monthly or yearly subscription) may start with a 7-day free trial. When signing up for a free trial, you are required to enter your credit card details so that the card can be charged at the end of your trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, your card will not be charged.

Subscriptions are billed via Stripe and automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can change or cancel your subscription via your account area.

All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of any applicable taxes. You will not be charged additional tax at checkout beyond the price shown for each subscription plan.

Payments are processed in EUR (€). Your bank/payment provider may charge currency conversion or other fees.

We do not store payment card details. Stripe processes payments securely.

Receipts/invoices will be sent automatically by Stripe on successful payment. If you need a new copy, please contact us.

6. EU Digital Content Withdrawal (14-Day Right)

By subscribing to a TAJINE QUI PARLE All Access plan (including a Free Trial), you request immediate access to all audio content, learning materials (when available), and community features and acknowledge that you waive the 14-day withdrawal right for digital content under EU consumer law once delivery begins. This does not affect your other statutory rights.

7. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account. Cancelling stops future renewals. You retain access to paid audio, learning materials (when available), and community features until the end of your current paid term (the rest of the month if you have a monthly subscription or the rest of the year if you have a yearly subscription).

If you cancel during your free-trial period, your card will not be charged, and access to paid audio, learning materials, and community features will end.

8. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for change of mind after subscribing (once access to digital content has begun).

If you cannot access paid audio, learning materials (when available), or community features for a significant portion of your term due to a verified issue on our site (not due to your device/connection/settings), contact us. If we cannot resolve the issue, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund or time credit.

Subjective dissatisfaction with audio quality, learning materials, or community content is not a ground for refund. You can evaluate the quality and functionality of these features during your 7-day free trial before your paid subscription begins.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

9. Service Quality & Availability

We strive to provide high-quality content and to keep the service available, but 100% uptime is not guaranteed. Temporary unavailability may occur due to hosting/provider maintenance, site updates, or technical issues.

In cases of prolonged downtime attributable to us, we may offer a reasonable time credit (at our discretion).

10. Modifications to Plans & Features

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, pricing, and promotions. For significant changes to these Terms or to your plan’s core features, we will notify active subscribers at least 7 days in advance where practicable. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Communications

By using the service, you agree to receive transactional/service emails (e.g. account, billing, service updates). If you opt in to receive newsletter emails, you may opt out of those emails at any time; however, transactional/service emails will continue as they are necessary for your subscription.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the site (including text, audio, design, and branding) is the property of TAJINE QUI BRILLE FRANCE or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to your subscription is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription term. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. The courts of France will have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
